Joanne King (Ann Wilson)

A powerhouse vocalist with nearly two decades of stage experience, Joanne began her musical journey at 17, performing with her local musical society. Since then, she has fronted numerous bands, spanning genres from soft rock to symphonic metal.

A classically trained singer with a rock 'n' roll edge, Joanne studied music at BIMM Dublin and is currently involved in multiple acts, including Wildheartirl — Ireland’s first Heart tribute band — along with the female duo Lady Riot and various rock cover projects.

As Valcata’s second lead vocalist, Joanne put her own stamp on the group's material. To celebrate the re-release of 'Nightmares & Promises', she recorded her own versions of the six songs, resulting in a double-EP (12 tracks total).
